Some kids are quiet and reserved, others are deep thinkers and just want to sit and chat, and some have boundless energy, running in and out of offices trying to "scare" staff, or roughhouse, or share some real exciting news (like the latest work of art). Lately Jayseon has been coming to visit a lot. Always smiling, always filled with the excitement of seeing people he genuinely loves - so much excitement you'd think he hadn't seen any of us in a month. It’s a beautiful morning to sit outside and write a prayer. The cooler air in the morning feels so refreshing. A pair of snuggly pajama pants. A long sleeved shirt. A sweater. Steam coming from a fresh cup of black coffee. The birds are chirping. You can still hear some crickets. A few leaves dust the deck. Ten minutes ago I yelled at my daughter because the bus, yet again, was sitting at our driveway waiting for HER. I’m gonna email the bus driver and tell her she (my daughter) should get the dreaded “bus report” everytime she (the bus driver) has to wait for her (my daughter). Reciprocal Relationships

“Our Father in heaven, Lord I come to you Father for Ashley - I can feel her stress level and the heaviness of her mind and heart. Lord please give her peace. Sometimes we as human beings pick up our burdens instead of leaving them at the cross. I know my sister, Father please give her the understanding she needs in Jesus name, Amen.” This prayer was sent to me via text and followed by “I love you Ashley and I know you have a full plate.
