THY WILL
I know you see me, I know you hear me Lord. Your plans are for me, Goodness you have in store. So, thy will be done. Thy will be done. Thy will be done. Like a child on my knees all that comes to me is, Thy will be done. Thy will be done. Thy will be done. I know you see me, I know you hear me, Lord. Thy Will By Hillary Scott
When things go well. Thy will be done. When things don’t go as “planned” thy will be done. When we are hurting and sad. Thy will be done. When we are rejoicing over new life. Thy will be done. Life is full of moments; moments worth celebrating and moments we dread. Each moment is full of grace, grace to withstand and grace to be present. At Hope Street we have all these “types” of days filled with different emotions: sadness, laughter, frustration, discontent, comparison and silliness. Still we say thy will be done. Father, we find peace and comfort in the fact that you have established a will. A will that is good, full of grace and full of truth. A will that allows us to join you, to lay ourselves down and see it’s not our story but yours. Father, may we have childlike faith. A faith that keeps us on our knees crying out to you, thy will be done. Father we pray that your will would be done in Amy, Myra, Ashley, Judy, Patrice, Evette, Sabrina, Kris, Chris, Charles, Victor, Courtney, Kevin, Beth, Jamie, Jasmine, Linda, Cornelius, Sheila, Mikey, Saniyah, Kevin Jr., Anijahya, Mariah, Jasmine, Kevindra, Chelsey, Jamari, Ja-qwez’s life. Each man, woman and child is yours; made in your likeness and image, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen, Ashley
