Gratitude
Yesterday as we wrapped up two full days of taping at Hope Street prepping for our Family Reunion, I walked in just as the 5 o'clock buzz of our hallway was coming to life. It was the students coming home from school, dinner being prepared, and our Tuesday night study with Perry kicking off. As I made my way to my office I was greeted with a 'sup FAM' from Mark, Van ready to talk all things Pokemon, and Sara moving into her new apartment with her sweet baby boy. And as all the hustle slowly settled, Jayseon walked in to my office and we jammed out to Moana and talked all things dinosaurs.
And in that moment I became overwhelmed with gratitude. I realized these people that God has brought into Hope Street have become my family. It's messy at times, rarely easy, but its a beautiful picture of Grace and Love every single day. I'm so grateful to be able to know each one of them. They have blessed me and have changed who I am.
We are 16 days away from our Family Reunion and I simply can not wait. I can't wait to hear stories of His continued grace, meet more of the Hope Street family, and watch as God continues to craft our stories together. I would love for you to join us. All of of stories are different, and crafted together uniquely, but I encourage you to allow Hope Street to become part of your story. I promise you won't regret it.
Father, thank you. Thank you for this community that you continue to grow and evolve. Thank you for allowing me to be just a small part of it. We are all grateful for your continued goodness and love.
Amen, Rach
