Lord Hear our Prayer

A couple weeks ago we had the opportunity to join one of our partner churches for weekend services. It is always refreshing to experience a liturgical service that in many ways exhibits unity, history, and a profound remembrance. We remember/recall what we know to be true of our Father, His Son, and the Holy Spirit. As we head into what is undoubtedly the beginning of “the busy season” at Hope Street, we ask that you join us in praying the following:

As new applications come rolling in, give Ms. Rhonda wisdom and discernment as she meets with potential new members.

Lord, hear our prayer.

As new members join our census, help them feel a part of something bigger than themselves. Help them to experience your peace, love, grace and truth.

Lord, hear our prayer.

As new classes start up, tug on hearts to participate and experience the power of learning things in community.

Lord, hear our prayer.

We ask for wisdom and guidance in all planning - whether that be for upcoming events, fundraising for Shechem, programming, or any of the day to day details. May we walk in your ways, Father, and trust you each step of the way.

Lord, hear our prayer.

Lord, I am so grateful that you hear us. Even more than that you see us, and know us intimately. Thank you for choosing to meet us with grace and truth - the proper dose of both. We give you this day, and say thank you that your people join us in presenting our petitions to you. You are faithful.
