My roommate and I have talked a lot about this concept of thriving. It comes up in conversation often - sometimes jokingly, but lately it has got me thinking. God truly created us to thrive! Hope Street is a space for you to do just that - thrive - in a safe and protected environment. This is where our Greenhouse for People metaphor comes into play. Not only is our goal to give you the space to do this, but also to break it down even further. Define what thriving is within your life/what does that look like and how can we support you in making that happen? To dive even deeper and get at the root of thriving, well that is all within Christ himself. We thrive in His goodness and within His grace. Without God, we will always be simply surviving and never truly thriving. Lord, I thank you for making yourself truly known to us - for allowing us the opportunity to thrive because of YOU. May we be reminded of that each and every day. That without you we are simply surviving and never living our lives to the fullest - to what you created it to be. I pray that we continue to lean on you and to follow your lead. May we never take your love for granted. We love you and we thank you. Today and every day may we aim to live more than just an ordinary life with you at the forefront. Amen, Brooke
