Shechem at Hope Street
It’s been a long time coming. Just over 6 years to be exact since we joined our Father on this journey towards building Shechem. There have been days we wondered if the whole thing was just a test of faith, or if in fact there would be a building that men, women and children could meet Him in the halls, learn new healthy habits and of course have fun in a safe environment. While every day is an arrival, we have arrived at the point where walls are being built, financing has been secured, and programming is being created. There aren’t enough emojis let alone words to describe the excitement and anticipation BUT let me be the first to say, thank you and AMEN. God’s faithfulness has met us each step of the way and I’m so incredibly grateful for those who have generously joined us and helped lay the foundation for what is to come. But we aren’t finished. When Shechem comes to mind, would you please join us in praying the following: Lord, you have proven time and time again that you provide exactly what we need, when we need it. We are asking for your provision once again. Open the right the doors, and stir people’s hearts to join you in your kingdom work. Lord, give us ears to hear and eyes to see what your perfect will is. Help us to be obedient beyond our education so that we don’t miss out on what it is you want from us. Lord, prepare our community for what is to come. Help us to be good stewards of resources. To remain unified, and steadfast in our mission. Lord, thank you for the process that has led us to Shechem being ready to be built. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen. Ash
