Okay, so our theme is Chasing the SON, not sun….but I can’t help but think the same principles apply that Sara Barielles beautifully sings. We have this one life on earth, and our Father wastes NOthing. He gives us the choice to chase after Him, in fact to run after Him as though our life depends on it...because it does. The best example we see of this at Hope Street, is none other than our kids. Our kids experience freedom inside of our walls, that freedom enables them to laugh, scream with delight, embrace, and most of all heal. Heal from things we wish they could have been protected from, but Hope says they still have a future worth striving for. A future worth chasing after, with Him. It’s no more complicated than that, we want to run after our Father alongside our kids as they discover what it means to live, learn and develop new habits which enables us all to grow and flourish. Jesus says it best, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14). So we provide the safe space, and together we chase after the Son.
