I Sleep So Peacefully at Hope Street

"In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety." Psalm 4:8

One of the greatest gifts one can receive is peace. Not just peace around us, but peace within us. For many, including myself, there have been seasons when sleep was hard to find because worry, fear, uncertainty, or life's challenges kept our minds racing.

That's why hearing a Homes member say, "I sleep so peacefully at Hope Street," is so powerful. It reminds me that peace is more than a feeling…it's a gift. When we feel safe, cared for, and valued, our hearts can finally rest.  This is protection. This is safety. This is God's covering over our lives.

At Hope Street, our goal is to create an environment where people can experience that kind of peace. I believe it's the Holy Spirit working intentionally in our community. It's deep peace that comes from Jesus. He invites us to lay down our burdens, quiet our worries, and trust Him with tomorrow.  May we remember that true rest is found in the presence of God. People who experience this place know that God is watching over Hope Street, caring for us individually, and giving us peace that the world cannot take away.

Lord, thank You for the gift of rest and peace. May our hearts find comfort in Your presence and may we rest peacefully, knowing You are always with us.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Shayla
