New Team Members

I have an incredible team. They work hard, work well together, and each share the gifts that God has uniquely given them. In this last season I asked my team to operate pretty lean. We launched a new campaign (Sustain Campaign) and wanted to be intentional about discerning where the gaps were. This has allowed us to make sure everyone feels like they have a good workload, and that the things they are focusing on fall within areas of competency. It’s been a good exercise. It’s laid the foundation for us to now welcome new people to join our team, so we can continue to create capacity and better serve the men, women and children who walk through our doors. 

I am thankful for the countless volunteers who stepped in and showed up in meaningful ways. Thanks for your support, and encouragement in a season where we have needed it most. 

Together, we have been able to exemplify what Hope Street does best, build community. A community which knows each person plays an important part. As we enter into this next season would you please join me in praying: 

Father, thank you for your provision. Thanks for giving us new mercy each and every morning to show up and be present in a place we love. Thank you for creating space for community to happen. As we continue to welcome more people into our space - whether that be staff, volunteers or people living or residing in our space - may it be a place people experience your love and peace.
