I am grateful

From sunrise to sunset.

I am grateful

When the devil is trying to disturb my peace.

I am grateful

When accidents are happening, teenagers are stealing cars, crashing them, jumping out and running away from the scene.

I am grateful

When there is a virus out killing people.

I am grateful

For learning my purpose and living in it.

I am grateful

For allowing myself to be loved by God.

I am grateful

For learning how to love myself.

I am grateful

For the existence of Hope Street and everyone involved in the program.

I am grateful

For your continual grace and mercy.

Lord, I just want you to know that I am truly grateful for where I was in my mess and where I am now because of you.

I am truly grateful for each and every day - days full of your love and your protection.

Lord, I pray continually that people learn of your love, and are open to receive it (you), because I know that you are waiting with open arms, the same open arms that you wrapped me up in.

He is waiting.
